Service Description:
|
Community-based rehabilitation program for children and adults *
physiotherapists, occupational therapists and social workers available *
individual consultation and group education sessions * topics may
include:
- dealing with pain
- arthritis medications
- exercises to reduce stiffness, increase strength and improve fitness
- new ways to be active and minimize stress on joints
- coping with the emotional impact of arthritis
- self-management strategies including: physical, emotional and psychological in the community, home or workplace

Eligibility - Population(s) Served:

People of all ages with any form of a confirmed arthritis diagnosis and their families/parents
