Organ and Tissue Donation

The organizations listed below promote the donation of organs and tissues for use in transplant operations.

The Trillium Gift of Life Network (listed below) coordinates the retrieval and distribution of all organs in Ontario, issues donor cards and provides a link to the Ontario Donor Registry. Donor cards are available at most hospitals.

Ontarians can also register their wish to become an organ donor with the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. Talk with your family and make sure they are aware about organ and tissue donation.
