Programs and services for individuals and families who are coping with trauma arising from child abuse, and which help protect infants, children, and youth experiencing abuse or who are at risk of abuse. Child abuse includes neglect, abandonment, or emotional, physical or sexual abuse.
If there are reasonable grounds to suspect that a child is or may be in need of protection, you must promptly report the suspicion and the information upon which it is based to your local Children's Aid Society or Indigenous Child and Family Services agencies. |
