Local Healthcare Organizations Collaborating to Improve Care
The Boards of Knollcrest Lodge, Mitchell Nursing Home/Ritz Lutheran Villa and the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance have unanimously endorsed a study highlighting collaboration opportunities that the 3 organizations can pursue to benefit residents and patients in their shared geography.
Recently completed in partnership with the Southwest Local Health Integration Network and Deloitte, emphasis was placed on improving the resident/patient experience; respecting the important role played by the partner organizations both in the delivery of healthcare and in their respective communities; improving quality, safety, access, efficiency and effectiveness of care; and, learning from leading practices across the system.
With the Study now endorsed, the organizations will develop a shared vision for moving forward, and will begin to work closer together to strengthen the delivery of care.
