Council wants to hear from you! They have a new Strategic Plan. What should the top priorities be?
City Council approved their new Strategic Plan for the City of London on March 10, 2015. This new Strategic Plan identifies Council’s Vision, Mission, Values and Strategic Areas of Focus for 2015-2019.
City Council will be identifying top priorities for new city investment in July, 2015. This will help guide them with the development of the City of London’s first ever multiyear budget.
To assist Council in understanding the community’s top priorities, during the month of June, the City of London will engage residents in multiple ways.
A community wide telephone survey and focus groups will be conducted over the next month. There will also be an opportunity for all Londoners to provide their feedback to City Council by filling out an online survey available on our website www.london.ca/stratplan.
All feedback collected during this process will be provided to City Council as they work to identify their top priorities for new city investment over the next 4 years.
“Listening to Londoners and hearing their views and insights will be a vital part of the process as City Council makes decisions on the projects and initiatives to invest in over the next four years,” said Mayor Matt Brown.
