Kick off March Break with King's Open House for future students this weekend

King’s University College is set to welcome more than 700 future students, their families and friends this weekend over a two-day Open House. This is a key time for applicants to explore campus, participate in mini-lectures, meet current students and faculty as decisions are made about where to study this fall.

King’s Open House runs on Friday March 11th, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. and again on Saturday March 12th, 1p.m. – 4 p.m. The event will be centered in the Darryl J. King Student Life Centre, 266 Epworth Ave, London. Tours of campus and residence will be available and King’s faculty and staff will be on hand to answer questions about academic programs and support services. Student clubs will also have display booths.

“We are very impressed by the high calibre of our applicants this year from across Canada,” says Marilyn Mason, Vice-Principal Enrolment Services and Strategic Partnerships. “We are excited to meet them in person and show them the King’s experience that is called the best of both worlds: a close knit educational experience at King’s which is tied to the big school atmosphere of Western,” she adds.

King’s highly rated faculty are accessible to students inside and outside the classroom. Students are engaged in a wide range of undergraduate programs in the liberal arts, business and social work. King’s is renowned for teaching excellence and is highly regarded for its scholastic endeavours and experiential learning opportunities in the fields of Business, Thanatology, Social Justice & Peace Studies, Disability Studies and more.
