Mayors of Southwest Ontario
The Mayors of Southwest Ontario will meet in Cambridge on Friday, June 24 to discuss strategic priorities for the region.
This marks the third meeting of the Mayors of Southwest Ontario (MOSO), a group comprised of Mayors from the largest urban centers in southwest Ontario.
The Mayors will be joined by Premier Kathleen Wynne, Deputy Premier Deb Matthews, MPP for Cambridge the Honourable Kathryn McGarry and MPP for Kitchener Centre Daiene Vernile.
Main topics of discussion will include rapid transit, affordable housing, infrastructure and economic development.
All Mayors involved in the meeting will be available to the media at 3pm. There will be an opportunity to collect photos and video footage of the meeting with the Premier at 1:30pm.
Attendees include London Deputy Mayor Paul Hubert, Guelph Mayor Cam Guthrie, Sarnia Mayor Mike Bradley, Woodstock Mayor Trevor Birtch, Cambridge Mayor Doug Craig, St Thomas Mayor Heather Jackson, Stratford Mayor Dan Mathieson, Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens, and Kitchener Mayor Berry Vrbanovic.
