Reminder: Free Outdoor Movie Night in Seaforth

The Huron County Health Unit would like to remind families that the free outdoor movie night planned for Saturday, August 13 in Victoria Park in Seaforth will take place rain or shine.

However, in the case of rain, the movie will take place at the Seaforth & District Community Centre, located at 122 Duke Street, on the arena floor. Families are still invited to come out and watch Zootopia, an animated children's movie about a crime fighting rabbit.

Activities will begin at 7pm and a local youth band will provide entertainment. Snacks will be available for purchase from local vendors. There will also be a water re-fill station. so please bring your water bottles.

Youth volunteers will be addressing the issue of smoking in movies rated for children and youth at the event and bring attention to the role of media messaging and tobacco use.

The event is hosted by the Huron County Health Unit, in partnership with the Municipality of Huron East, Healthy Kids Community Challenge and the Huron East/Seaforth Development Community Trust.
