Service Description:
|
Volunteer supported meal and transportation services to adults with disabilities and seniors within the City of London
Hot meals delivered daily Mon, Wed and Fri 11am-1:30pm * weekend meals delivered chilled on Fri * frozen meals delivered weekly on Thu * special diet types and texture modifications available
Short term caregiver relief, recuperation, seasonal or long-term assistance available * no long-term contract required
No services provided on:
- New Year's Day
- Family Day
- Good Friday
- Victoria Day
- Canada Day
- Civic Holiday
- Labour Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Boxing Day
Special delivery on Christmas Day
Daily Meal Program
- Hot or chilled meals delivered between 11am and 1:30pm Mon-Fri * weekend meals delivered fresh on Fridays

Frozen Meal Service
- Packages of 7 frozen entrees available for delivery once per week

Wheels for Wellness
- Non-emergency transportation to local essential appointments with doctors and healthcare professionals * volunteer drivers * wheelchairs cannot be accommodated * service available Mon-Fri only * must be able to get in and out of a vehicle on their own and left on their own

Frozen meals: 7 meals for $46 * 7 soups for $17.10 * 7 desserts for $18 * transportation $24
