Service Description: Group programming for adults with an acquired brain injury * focuses on individual and group goal achievement, and improving independent and quality of life * offers social, recreational, wellness, skill building, exercise, and therapeutic activities * services available on a short-term, transitional, or life-long basis

Nigel and Rhonda Gilby Centre for New Tomorrows - London-based adult day program for adults with an acquired brain injury * Life After Stroke specialized day program * variety of group services offered five days a week with occasional evening and weekend activities

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Adults 18 years and older with an acquired brain injury * must be medically stable * must identified rehabilitation or quality of life goals * must have needs that can be address through group programming * must have demonstrated ability to learn and/or benefit from staff interventions * must be able to appropriately contribute, participate, and benefit in a group services setting * must meet at least one of the following:
  • potential to improve through the rehabilitation process
  • caregiver requires respite
  • requires support to maintain or increase quality of life
Languages: English ; French
