Service Description: Treatment program for severe to profound hearing loss in both children and adults

Surgically implanted electronic device provides people with the sensation of hearing by bypassing the damaged part of the inner ear


Fees: Most services covered by OHIP
Application: Medical referral required
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: People with severe to profound hearing loss who obtain limited or no benefit from traditional hearing aids
