Service Description: Outpatient and inpatient services for examining the body and testing specimens to diagnose medical conditions

Bone mineral densitometry - Tests measuring how much calcium and other types of minerals are in an area of bone * tests used to help detect osteoporosis and predict risk of bone fractures * Mon-Fri afternoons, scheduled appointment required

Cardiac testing - Examination of the heart and related structures including stress tests, holter monitoring and 2D Echo (Ultrasound of the heart) * scheduled appointment required

CT (computerized tomography) scan - imaging for examining the body with the use of x-rays to create 3D images for diagnostic purposes * Out Patient CT scheduled appointment required

Emergency and inpatient service -  for examining various body parts using x-rays to create 3D images of diagnostic purposes *  available by referral

Fluoroscopy and gastrointestinal radiography - X-rays that require barium or contast media (dependant on test requested by doctor) captured on real-time images of the area of interest for diagnostic purposes * tests include barium swallow, upper gastrointestinal series (UGI), small bowel follow through (SBFT), barium enema, sinogram/fistulogram * Mon, Wed or Thu 8am-12 noon, scheduled appointment required * Mon-Fri

Mammography - X-rays of breast tissue for screening and/or diagnostic purposes including Ontario Breast Screening Program, scheduled appointment required

Outpatient Electrocardiograms (ECG) - Mon-Fri 8am-3pm

Respiratory - OUtpatient respiratory services, including pulmonary functions testing * medical referral and appointment required

Ultrasound - Uses sound waves to create images for diagnostic purposes * ultrasound services include abdominal, comprehensive breast imaging (including biopsies), gynecological, intracavity imaging, musculoskeletal (MSK), obstetrical, prostate, thyroid and vascular * Mon-Sat 7:30am-3:30pm, scheduled appointment required

X-ray - X-rays of various body parts for diagnostic purposes *  includes chest, abdominal, orthopedic and other x-rays for disease or fractures * Mon-Fri 8am-4pm,  available by appointment only
