Service Description: Inpatient palliative care unit that provides pain and symptom management and end-of-life care for patients with a life-limiting illness * patients are provided specialized care by an interdisciplinary team focused on physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs

Private rooms for all patients * rooms include home-like finishes and can accommodate friends and family * unit includes a kitchenette and common area

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Adults 18 years and older with a progressive life threatening illness for which curative treatment has ceased
