Service Description: Emergency shelter for women and their children

24-hour shelter houses and feeds up to 4 families * provides clothing and supplies when donations are available * staff assist in-house clients with finding housing, social assistance, medical and legal help * shelter works with other community agencies who provide counselling and interpretation services * length of stay depends on situation, but average stay is 6-8 weeks crisis accommodation and 2 weeks for housing
