Service Description: Safe shelter and crisis support for women and children who are fleeing abuse or are in crisis * provides service through a crisis telephone line open 24 hours daily * shelter, referral, advocacy, outreach counselling for women and their children

Crisis Telephone Line - Open 24 hours, 7 days per week * phone lines are answered by a trained, supportive counsellor * calls are confidential and the service does not subscribe to call display

Sexual Assault Services - 24-hour crisis and support telephone line * information, support and advocacy to women victims of sexual abuse and their families and friends

Child Witness Outreach Counselling - Crisis support, education and counselling to children who have been impacted by woman abuse, individually or in group sessions

Abused Women Outreach Counselling - One-on-one, confidential counselling and support groups

Transitional Support Program - Assistance identifying and accessing supports needed to establish violence-free lives after fleeing an abusive relationship * assistance with securing or maintaining safe, affordable housing

Holiday Program - Community members can donate items to a Christmas Wish List provided by a family or woman in the shelter * contact Amanda, Transition Department 519-396-9814 ext 226
 
Emergency Shelter - Safe, secure shelter, basic needs and counselling for women 16 years and over and their children fleeing abuse or in a housing crisis * 24-hour crisis telephone counselling
 
Second Stage Housing - Rent geared-to-income housing in Port Elgin, Wiarton and Kincardine * 1, 2 and 3-bedroom units available up to one year * program participants assisted by staff to explore options, connect with community agencies, and develop coping strategies and support systems to live abuse-free lives
