- Immunization clinic * publicly funded vaccines available to protect against vaccine preventable disease

- Prevention and control of infectious disease * inspects institutional food premises, including:- long-term care homes
- retirement homes
- hospitals and childcare centres
Monitors and responds to outbreaks in institutions and community * conducts follow up with people having a reportable illness * inspects personal service settings, including:- tattoo and piercing shops
